Game Summary:

The 7th grade McMillan Lady Marauder Maroon team beat Allen Curtis Thursday night 25-11, 25-8. Leading the way in serves was Jo O'Steen, Camryn Mireault, and Kylee Coleman Madison Helt, Kylee Coleman, and Jo O'Steen lead the way in kills behind the setting of Camryn and Madison. The girls are working hard to put together aggressive play as 7th graders to continue to improve their record. Their record is now 5-1. The 7th grade Lady Marauder Black team lost to Allen Curtis last night, 16-25, 16-25. Both games the girls played hard, but still came up short. Catherine Boyoma and Daija Eggins were key players during the games last night. The girls are working hard to prepare for their "B" team tournament that will be next Saturday, October 17th. This tournament will be hosted at McMillan Jr. High. The 7th grade Lady Marauder White team lost to Allen Curtis, 20-25, 24-26. The girls really played a good game nearly pulling off the second game. The team is continuing to improve with every game. Katrena Njiki and Kako Cox were the team leaders in Thursday nights game.
